Stormtroopers Attack In This New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Clip

Have you seen enough of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story yet? Unless you're an absolute diehard fan of the franchise, your answer to that is probably, and understandably, a resounding yes. For the past month or so, it's been an all out assault from Disney in regards to their marketing campaign for the film. They've been hitting us with trailers, TV spots, promos, images, posters - you name it, and they've got it. At this point, we're seeing something new almost every day, and it's in danger of getting to the point of overkill.

They’ve been hitting us with trailers, TV spots, promos, images, posters – you name it, they’ve got it. At this point, we’re seeing something new almost every single day, and it’s in danger of getting to the point of overkill. That isn’t stopping the studio though, as today we’ve received yet another piece of promotional material and it arrives in the form of a clip.

It’s actually an exciting look at Rogue One, as it shows Jyn (Felicity Jones) and Cassian (Diego Luna) contending with some Stormtroopers, giving us a good glimpse of the action in the film as well as a bit of humor right near the end. There’s nothing in terms of spoilers here, either, so it should be safe to watch.

Thus far, we’re quite enjoying what we’ve seen of Rogue One. Those reshoots (which Tony Gilroy had a big hand in, apparently), might be cause for concern, but hopefully they weren’t as big of a deal as the internet made them out to be back in the summer. Disney might not be expecting the film to perform quite as well as Star Wars: The Force Awakens did back when it hit theatres last year, but it still shouldn’t have any trouble bringing in a healthy profit for the studio.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will blast into theatres on December 16th, 2016 – just don’t expect there to be a sequel.
