When production first started on Star Wars: Episode VII, we heard rumors that the iconic Millenium Falcon was under construction at Pinewood Studios. Now, we have visual confirmation that the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy will in fact make its triumphant return!

Yesterday, TMZ leaked a slew of new photos from the Abu Dhabi set, which will act as the location for Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tatooine. Now, the site has released a few new images, showing the Millenium Falcon and what looks like an X-Wing fighter under construction. Check them out below:

While we could have easily assumed that the beloved spacecraft would make an appearance in Episode VII (especially with the original trio of stars returning), it’s great to see actual proof, as well as further confirmation that Abrams is resorting to practical effects and sets for this new entry in the saga rather than CGI.

Star Wars: Episode VII is currently filming in the UK and arrives in a galaxy near you on December 18th, 2015.
