And another one bites the dust. First we saw Joseph Gordon-Levitt departing from Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained and now we are hearing that Sacha Baron Cohen has dropped out. The actor revealed the news on the Howard Stern show, when he said that he would not appear in the film due to conflicts with his press tour for The Dictator.
“That was going to be a cameo, but I had to drop out because of [‘The Dictator’] press tour,” he said.
If you remember, Cohen replaced Jonah Hill, who had to decline to scheduling conflicts. Whether Tarantino will try to persuade Hill to clear his schedule or not is unknown but it’s likely that he’ll go for another actor.
Will it be someone as big as Hill and Cohen, who knows? We’ll be sure to keep you posted when we hear more.
