In the past 24 hours alone, we've caught wind of Ben Affleck and his "more traditional [and] heroic" Caped Crusader, fan theories involving Green Lantern, and a poster that brings together the entire squad - yes, even Henry Cavill's Man of Steel is featured in the latest Justice League one-sheet. In terms of what we have for you today, it might fall more into the rumor and speculation category, but that doesn't mean it's any less interesting.

In the past 24 hours alone, we’ve caught wind of Ben Affleck and his “more traditional [and] heroic” Caped Crusader, fan theories involving Green Lantern, and a poster that brings together the entire squad – yes, even Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel is featured in the latest Justice League one-sheet. In terms of what we have for you today, it might fall more into the rumor and speculation category, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less interesting.

Before we proceed, we’ll caution taking this with a grain of salt, as it hails from Reddit. Usually, that’d be a major red flag, but the user who posted this has delivered some accurate information in the past and while that doesn’t mean we should take this as fact, it’s enough to make it worth reporting on.

Anyways, according to this latest scoop, Zack Snyder will be returning to finish off Justice League and help promote it as the film inches closer to release.

“There have been rumors around the office and around the levels that Zack Snyder will soon return to finish up his movie,” says the report. “Although these are in no way confirmed, people have been talking about how he may come in within the next month or so to finalize the product and promote it.”

Again, we’d take this with a grain of salt, but it’s interesting to consider. That being said, we’d be pretty surprised if Snyder returned now. As some of the commenters on Reddit have pointed out, it wouldn’t look good on him or the studio, for a number of reasons, and we’d have to agree. Bringing him back at this stage would raise a lot of questions and probably just create more bad press, which the film definitely doesn’t need right now.

One way or another, we’ll find out soon enough if there’s any truth to this, as Justice League zooms into theaters on November 17th. Further down the pipeline, Warner Bros. has also reserved space on its slate for AquamanWonder Woman 2 and Shazam, the latter of which is eyeing a production start in early 2018. Word is that an April 2019 release is on the cards, but one way or another, there’s no place for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam.
