Making Up Rumors About Justice League Equals Hits
Remember how Wonder Woman was “apparently terrible” and all the fuss over that open letter to Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara? LOL! Man, I wish the person who wrote all that rubbish would step forward so we could all point and laugh at them today.
Unfortunately, this open letter and rumors of production problems have become all too common in the world of film journalism nowadays. Look, let’s be frank here, news of a multi-billion-dollar production hitting a snag is far more newsworthy than Ben Affleck eating a donut and laughing with Zack Snyder about a cute puppy video on YouTube.
Reporting on rumors is one thing, but making them up is only hurting the filmmakers, media and fans. In one day, you’ll hear about an insider who says that Justice League is impressive and immediately after how the film is being overhauled. It’s exhausting, and needs to come to an end.
Trust me, if Warner Bros. was remaking this entire film, they’d push it back instead of scrambling for the November 17th finish line. The mere fact that the studio offered to do so when Zack Snyder stepped away due to his personal tragedy shows there’s a serenity about it. With that in mind, maybe we should all take a moment to step back, breathe and relax as well. Sleep easy, because this movie is in good hands.
