A second production diary surfaced over the weekend for The Hobbit, the upcoming film from director Peter Jackson. Once again, the director offers an interesting look inside the production of the film.
Personally, I think these diaries are great and I’m very happy that Jackson has decided to put them out. This is a film that will likely have quite an interesting shoot, seeing as the film’s size and scale is enormous. Eager fans are undoubtedly hungry for footage from the set and these videos are doing a fine job at satisfying our appetite.
This time around, we see Jackson chatting with Andy Serkis, interviews with cast/crew members talking about what they’re going to do over the their break from the first block of shooting, location scouting and more. The 254 day shoot looks quite intense and this film is a massive undertaking for all involved.
Luckily, Jackson is keeping us updated every step of the way with these very well done production diaries. This one is just as enjoyable as the last and hopefully Jackson will keep us updated as The Hobbit shoot continues.
