To celebrate the new year, actress Olivia Munn has decided to post her top 5 favourite memories of 2015 to her Instagram page, and in at number 4 is being cast as telepathic mutant ninja Psylocke in Bryan Singer’s follow up to Days Of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse.
To mark that achievement, Munn has posted a new behind-the-scenes image of herself on the set of the movie, giving us another look at that brilliantly comic-accurate costume. The actress also added the following caption, briefly describing this latest incarnation of the character.
She’s a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun.
As well as returning cast members Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, and Nicholas Hoult, X-Men: Apocalypse will also introduce Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Lana Condor, Oscar Isaac, Ben Hardy and a number of others.
The movie is set to be released on May 27th, 2016.
