Now, you may already be familiar with Never Sleep Again, which is widely regarded to be the definitive Elm Street documentary, but its 240-minute running time doesn’t quite lend itself to what you’d consider appropriate for a bite-sized video to be viewed online. Furthermore, not everybody will always have the time to binge watch bonus features included on various Blu-ray sets on the weekend.

But, thanks to Demented Pictures, we have this new, truncated view of one of the greatest and most popular horror film franchises of all time. In it, we see a wealth of interesting trivia and the like stuffed into the 24-minute documentary, simultaneously making for a brief, yet informative, view that’s well worth a watch.

In a nutshell, A Nightmare on Elm Street: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know picks up by discussing series creator Wes Craven’s humble beginnings, leading to his inception of the franchise. Granted, it mostly focuses on the various stages of production that went into assembling the first film, but there is information provided regarding the various sequels and even the video games we mentioned earlier.

Needless to say, the internet could benefit from more videos like this and if you’re a fan of all things Freddy Krueger, you’ll definitely want to check it out. Enjoy!
