In combining the hostile, sun-scorched environment with that omnipresent sense of mystery secrecy, it’s the perfect atmosphere within which to situate a horror film, and that’s exactly what 20th Century Fox has done with the release of The Pyramid.

Due to makes its bow in the beginning of December, the psychological horror follows a group of intrepid explorers who unearth an undiscovered pyramid that had been lost in time. And so, throwing common sense and caution to the wind, the archaeologists burrow deeper and deeper only to discover that they are been stalked in the darkness. The hunters become the hunted, essentially.
