Well, we might not have received the long-fabled Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, but at least his henchmen are still out there doing the dirty work, keeping the unjustifiable mess formally known as the DCEU in the public eye.
Yesterday, Albert Valladares, who portrayed a hired gun in the divisive 2016 blockbuster Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, shared the below image of himself and none other than DCEU founding father, Zack Snyder. The photo, posted to Valladares’ official Instagram page, showcases the stuntman listening intently to the “wisdom” being bestowed upon him by Snyder on the set of the aforementioned superhero feature.
For those of you who don’t remember, Valladares met his end in Dawn of Justice when Batman (Ben Affleck) literally tore through a transport truck with the Batmobile in an absolutely badass chase sequence. Which, by the way, took place just prior to the Caped Crusader’s first official encounter with the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill).
While you may not recognize his name, Albert Valladares has provided stunt work on many productions that you just might be familiar with, including War for the Planet of the Apes. He also served as the stunt double for both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, and later this year, you can catch his handiwork in the James Cameron-produced action-adventure, Alita: Battle Angel.
As for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, look for the film to be re-released on home video, alongside Man of Steel, Justice League, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, sometime this fall, in order to help promote the release of James Wan’s Aquaman.
