Mid-Credits Scene For Suicide Squad Revealed

With Suicide Squad screening for critics and premiering in New York this week, reports are starting to emerge about the film's mid-credits scene, which we had previously heard about. Of course, there are minor spoilers here - nothing too terrible, but if you want to go in with a completely fresh slate, then it'd probably best best to turn back now.

With Suicide Squad screening for critics and premiering in New York this week, reports are starting to emerge about the film’s mid-credits scene, which we had previously heard about. While it might not be what people were expecting to see, it does sound like it could be teasing something quite interesting for the DCEU.

Of course, there are minor spoilers to be found here – nothing too terrible, mind you – but if you want to go in with a completely fresh slate, then it’d probably best best to turn back now.

According to those who’ve seen the film already, the scene in question features Bruce Wayne and Amanda Waller, and is being described as such:

The scene has Bruce Wayne talking to Amanda Waller in her office, getting dossier files on the members of the Justice League he’s trying to round up in exchange for using his influence to help cover up the damage to the city that the Suicide Squad causes while going after Enchantress.

They both have dirt on each other, though. When he leaves, he makes a crack about friendship. She says, “I don’t believe in friendship, I believe in leverage.” He looks at her and she follows, “You look tired. You should stop working nights.” He replied, “If you don’t shut it down someone will do it for you,” or something to that effect, and then leaves.

So, it sounds like the scene is there more to set up Justice League than it is to lay the groundwork for a Suicide Squad sequel, which is fine. After all, that’s obviously where most of Warner Bros. and DC’s focus is right now. Well, on that and Wonder Woman.

Plus, who knows, maybe there’s a post-credits sting in addition to a mid-credits one, which will tease one of the rumored Suicide Squad spinoffs. Sometimes studios don’t show the critics both scenes during the credits, and it’s very possible that that’s the case here.

Either way, we’ll find out soon enough, as the film arrives in theatres this Friday. Until then, be sure to check out our review to see what we thought of it.
