With the release of Avengers: Endgame, Marvel’s 11-year Infinity Saga has finally come to a close. And as the first era of the MCU gives way to the next, Marvel Studios has shared a quick (and somewhat spoiler-y) message to the fans.
The tweet includes a short video thanking filmgoers for being a part of the Marvel universe, along with the following text:
“Thank you to all the fans around the world for being part of our universe. We love you 3000. #AvengersEndgame”
That last sentence is a reference to a line from Morgan Stark, who says she loves her father 3000 in one of the earliest scenes of Endgame. Tony later repeats the line back to his daughter at the end of the movie in a recorded message.

The new tweet comes to us near the end of a triumphant first week for the Avengers: Infinity War sequel. As it stands, Endgame has accumulated a global total of $1.209 billion, almost doubling the previous opening weekend record of $640 million set by Infinity War. Domestically, the film has so far raked in $350 million, which again, easily beats the all-time record set by its predecessor.
In any case, while the success of Avengers: Endgame ensures that the Infinity Saga is going out with a bang, the MCU still has plenty of life left in it. Next year, for instance, Marvel’s Phase 4 is expected to begin with the long-awaited Black Widow solo movie. After that, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and various sequels to Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel are all thought to be on the way. But first, Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to officially wrap up Phase 3 when it arrives in theaters on July 2nd.
