Even though his big screen heyday is well behind him, Home Alone 2 and The Little Rascals star Donald Trump is still more than capable of leaving his fans starstruck, with Marjorie Taylor Greene proving to be a surprising fan of 1990s family favorites.
We’re not quite sure what happened to the acclaimed thespian, who looked to be on his way to finding glory in Hollywood after following up the aforementioned duo with appearances in such widely-acclaimed and disparate projects like comedy classic Zoolander, rom-com touchstone Two Weeks Notice, and sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, but it appears he hasn’t been forgotten.
While he did try his hand at reality television after hosting The Apprentice, he was eventually replaced by Arnold Schwarzenegger, leaving us to wonder what could have taken up so much of his time as to force him away from a filmography that was inevitably trending towards at least one Academy Award win, if not even more.
That being said, Trump did emerge from the shadows having barely been seen or heard from in years to graciously take a picture with one of his biggest supporters, even if it remains unclear as to whether or not any pleasantries or autographs were exchanged.
Talk about a blast from the past, huh? Trump’s acting exploits may have peaked at the turn of the millennium, but it’s clear that he’s still got plenty of admirers out there, which is strange when he’s barely been in the news since his last feature film credit over a dozen years ago. Maybe he’s planning on making a comeback, but we’ll never know what he’s been up to in the interim.
