There’s just over a month left until Looper hits theaters, meaning promotion for the sci-fi thriller is entering the final stretch. The latest bit to come our way is a series of fan art posted on the film’s Facebook page.
The artwork here is really cool. I especially like the black and white clock image (minus the fact that film features “Josheph Gordon-Levitt.”) Both of the clock pieces look good enough to be featured as actual posters for the film, and the other two are quality work as well.
Looper is definitely my must-see film for September. I think the premise is one of the most innovative and mind-bending ones we’ve seen in some time and I can’t wait to see it play out in full form on the big screen.
For those who have missed the film’s official description, check it out below:
In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.
