A 6-minute prologue for the grossly anticipated Christopher Nolan Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, will be airing before screenings of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, which hits theaters on December 16, or so we thought.
As it turns out, Warner Brothers sneakily failed to mention that the prologue will only be shown before Ghost Protocol in 70mm IMAX theaters, of which there are comparatively very few. The news is disappointing, but at least they have now put out an official list of the theaters where the Dark Knight Rises prologue can be seen.

I’m writing this out of Pittsburgh – and I’m a little peeved. There’s no way I’m making it to any of these theaters, just to see a 6-minute clip, even if it is for The Dark Knight Rises. What about you? Did your “local” 70mm IMAX theater make the cut? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
