Disney and Marvel’s co-venture, Big Hero 6, will soon be inescapable. Think about it: two of the world’s biggest studios with a history of box office success, and merchandising strategies that have folks digging into the pockets time and time again. The slant of this imminent release is aimed more at younger children, whose parents will hopefully find some Marvel easter eggs tucked away in the background…
This new trailer that’s arrived online today focuses on the adorable robotic companion of young lad, Hiro Hamada. A robotics prodigy, Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter) embarks on an adventure when his home city of San Fransokyo is subject to a terrible disaster. Turning to his inflatable buddy Baymax (voiced by 30 Rock’s Scott Adsit) for inspiration, he transforms his friend into a super robot.
There’s a better glimpse at the sweet Baymax in this new trailer, as well as a brief glimpse of the other ‘bots Hamada enlists for his mission. All in all, Disney have got a corking movie on their hands by the looks of it.
