Just a few weeks ago, Jonathan Majors looked set to be the one constant thread throughout Marvel‘s Multiverse Saga, but now it seems increasingly likely that we’re heading toward a major MCU recasting amid the actor’s real-life troubles. But, although it initially seemed cut and dry that he’d be replaced as Kang the Conqueror, things are no longer looking that simple. Meanwhile, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania continues to be unable to catch a break. Allow us to explain…

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania beaten to Disney Plus by Sony’s Spider-Man movies and Venom (but not Morbius… yet)

Not content with already being the slowest MCU movie to end up on Disney Plus, Quantumania is suffering a loss to Sony’s Spider-Verse — of all things — as even the back catalog of a franchise not owned by Marvel Studios is making it to the Mouse House’s streaming service before it. While a bunch of Spidey flicks and Venom are on their way to the platform in the coming weeks, though, at least we haven’t quite got to the stage where Morbius is beating Ant-Man 3 to streaming. No matter how much morbidly curious mavericks would love to see that happen.

Fans don’t want Jonathan Majors recast anymore… now they want Kang replaced by an entirely different villain

The Marvel fandom has been furiously theorizing about potential candidates for who could hypothetically replace Majors as Kang, but now a new approach on how to deal with the Majors situation has risen up. What if Marvel forgot about Kang altogether and introduced a whole other character as the antagonist of Phase Five and Six? A couple of surprisingly canon-compliant suggestions have been made so far — namely, Sylvie (who did kill He Who Remains, after all) and Killmonger, who went after multiversal mastery in What If…? And, ironically, just happens to be played by Majors’ Creed III nemesis, Michael B. Jordan.

Adam Driver’s Reed Richards rumors lead to fresh flurry of Fantastic Four fan-casting

Star Wars icon Adam Driver has risen up to become the latest most-likely candidate for the MCU’s Mr. Fantastic, thanks to new rumors claiming he’s primed to sign up for the role. So with Reed Richards reportedly locked in, Fantastic Four followers are busying themselves trying to guess who could play Driver’s on-screen wife Sue Storm, coming up with ideal Invisible Women ranging from extremely intriguing to just plain wild. When it comes to the full ensemble cast, however, Kevin Feige needs look no further for inspiration than WGTC’s own compilation of tempting team lineups.

While Marvel is doing its best to make us forget Jonathan Majors was ever in the MCU in the first place, thanks to some curiously Kang-free Quantumania promos, some concrete updates must arrive soon, so stay tuned.
