Stephen King takes a stroll down memory lane in the world of Carrie
Decades ago, the horror world was set ablaze with excitement when Stephen King’s bestselling novel Carrie was transformed into a film adaptation. As one of the spookiest tales in the entire catalog, King decided to take a trip down memory lane and address the acclaimed movie over on his Twitter account. As proud as one can get, King proclaimed that he still remembers the “first time” he ever saw Carrie — which undoubtedly felt like a huge moment of triumph for himself and his career. In doing so, a plethora of other adaptations have taken flight, and King is now a household name.
Bruce Campbell sings the praises of passionate Deadites everywhere
It’s certainly no surprise that Lee Cronin’s latest Evil Dead venture is slaying the box office – of course, it doesn’t hurt to have franchise veterans such as Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell in your back pocket as executive producers. That being said, Campbell definitely did his damndest to praise Evil Dead followers — commonly known as Deadites. Over on Twitter, Campbell thanked the franchise’s passionate fans — which is an absolute token of grace, seeing as the franchise undoubtedly boosted his professional career.
Blumhouse boss shares another cryptic message for fans
With Blumhouse dropping two major projects this year, it seems only fitting that boss Jason Blum would take to Twitter to keep fans on their toes at all times. In doing so, Blum insisted that this was going to be an exciting week — which led genre fanatics to believe that two huge trailers are expected to be released this week. These include trailers for both the Five Nights at Freddy’s live-action film and The Exorcist: Believer. It remains to be seen what will happen, but one thing is for sure: We’re more than excited.
