Well, the release of this romantic still from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 seems sufficiently awkward, given what has happened recently with Kristen Stewart. Nonetheless, here are a few new images from the last installment of the Twilight saga, courtesy of The Playlist, in what will perhaps be the last time we will see Stewart and Robert Pattinson together, on-screen or off-screen.
I haven’t been following the Twilight movies, but I have read all the books; so I know that Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is about Bella getting adjusted to her new life as a vampire, while her and Edward prepare to face a hoard of evil Volturi who want to kill Renesmee, their new daughter.
To be frank, it’s a pretty anti-climatic way to end a bland series, so I’m not personally looking forward to the film. On the other hand, loyal Twilight fans will probably flock to the theatres as usual to get their last fix of the vampire romance, especially now that KStew and RPattz are no longer a real-life counterpart to Bella and Edward.
There isn’t much action going on in these pictures, but they should be enough to tie the Twihards over until the next set of promotional material is released.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theatres on November 16th.
