Earlier this month, Disney CEO Bob Iger teased that Marvel Studios was preparing their own announcement on what the future of the MCU holds and also spilled a bit of information on movie release dates. While the House of Mouse has yet to formally announce any films, we know there are (at least) eight in the pipeline, with two due out in 2020, three set to release in 2021, and another trio slated for 2022.

Thankfully, it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer to see what’s in store. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige recently took to Reddit to participate in an Ask Me Anything (AMA), and he shed some light on the next phase of the MCU. Aside from teasing the return of the Mandarin, when asked about which characters he’s anxious to introduce, Kevin simply replied that the fans would know “soon enough.”

This response might be a bit vague, but you shouldn’t give up hope just yet. Summer would mark the perfect time for Disney to shed some light on Phase 4, and with San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Expo just around the corner, there’s a good chance that MarvelĀ Studios will fully unveil their future lineup in the coming months. As always, watch this space for more.
