When will we get our first look at Avengers 4? That’s the question on every Marvel fan’s lips at the moment. Well, that and “when will the studio reveal the official title?”
Unfortunately, Kevin Feige and co. are keeping mum on the matter at present, so it’s left to the rest of us to try and guess just what their plan of action might be. Thankfully, though, we do have confirmation that the trailer will be here at some point in the next 2 months. How do we know? Well, Feige attended a special screening of Black Panther last night for Oscar voters and of course, he was asked when the Avengers 4 preview was coming.
Obviously, he wouldn’t give an exact date, but according to those in attendance, the head honcho of Marvel Studios was willing to confirm that yes, it’ll be here before the year’s over. Which, obviously, means we’ll be laying eyes on Avengers 4 some time in the next 8 weeks or so, as we can’t imagine they’d release it after Christmas.
Of course, when the trailer finally does arrive, not only will we presumably get a much better idea of what the Russo Brothers have cooked up for the MCU’s Phase 3 finale, but all those wild trailer description “leaks” that’ve been flooding online forums will finally stop, too.
The other major reveal that will surely arrive along with the preview is, of course, the long-awaited title of next year’s flick. Marvel’s questionable choice to sit on the name for so long has led to much speculation on the web, with the most persistent of the rumored candidates perhaps being Avengers: Annihilation.
In any case, Avengers 4 won’t be hitting cinemas until May 3rd, 2019, and you can bet that the fans won’t be getting any calmer in the meantime. At least, not until they’ve got that trailer in their hands.
