They’ve Listened To You
Make no mistake, this trailer shows that Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. have listened to all of the criticism directed at them. Everything about it seems different from what’s been released before, with a sense that this is a far more planned and meticulous effort.
So far, Warner Bros. hasn’t caved in to the pressure of servicing the fans, and released the promo material on their terms. The marketing campaign for this film looks to be heavily strategic and calculated, which is exactly what was needed after the last two efforts. In the forthcoming months, I hope the studio continues to believe in this less-is-more approach and only allow us momentary sneak peeks. While it’s frustrating for the fans who obviously want to see more, the delayed gratification should be worth it at the end of the day. One thing’s for sure: the hype for this film is now real.
