Even though Justice League didn’t quite meet financial expectations, it’s impossible to deny that it’s a landmark movie. In other words, the first live action team-up involving the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Flash and Cyborg is something that many of us had been waiting our entire lives for and, in the view of this writer, it made for one fun viewing experience.
Having said that, we need no longer ponder when we can own copies of our own. As it turns out, Justice League will be made available digitally on February 13, with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-Ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD releases following on March 13. In other words, there’s something for everyone, no matter which platform you favor.
It’s also worth pointing out how Wonder Woman is front and center on each variation of the cover art. Normally, that spot is reserved for either Batman or Superman whenever promo art is circulated on the comic book side of things, but given Diana’s white hot popularity at the moment, this makes total sense. Some would go as far to argue that she’s the best thing going right now in the DC Extended Universe, and it’s hard to counter that.
Still, the Man of Steel remains on the minds of fans, particularly when it comes to whether the home video release will further explore his resurrection. Unfortunately, the extra scenes won’t be cut together with the movie itself, but they will be included as bonus content, and one of them is even teased briefly in the trailer embedded at the top of this article. Suffice it to say, fingers remain crossed for the fabled black costume.
Anyway, here’s a full rundown of bonus features set to be included on Justice League‘s Blu-ray – which is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
