The latest addition to the ever-expanding roster is actress Joey King, who has plenty of previous with the streamer having headlined The Kissing Booth trilogy, the second installment of which ranks as one of the platform’s most-watched original movies ever after racking up 66 million views in the first four weeks it was available.

King might be just 21 years old, but she’s now signed on to produce and develop movies for Netflix through her All the King’s Horses Banner, and she’s currently shooting literary adaptation Uglies for the platform, which she also executive produces. The star has a ton of high profile projects under her belt having previously appeared in The Dark Knight Rises, The Conjuring, White House Down, Independence Day: Resurgence and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch’s upcoming star studded actioner Bullet Train.

The Golden Globe nominee is regarded as one of the fastest-rising talents in the industry, and she’s already got the aforementioned Bullet Train, The Kissing Booth 3, 20th Century Studios’ The Princess, Hulu limited series A Spark of Light and Paramount+ drama The In Between in various stages of production or development, so King will clearly have no problems churning out as much content as possible under the terms of what promises to be a lucrative and fruitful partnership with Netflix.
