Jessica Chastain And Chris Pratt Headline IT: Chapter Two Fan-Made Trailer

While Pennywise licks his wounds and enjoys all the "we have (insert goofy thing) down here" memes that pop up on his Facebook feed, the rest of us are forced to speculate who'll star in IT: Chapter Two, the follow-up to the 2017 box office juggernaut. On the plus side, filming is set to commence this summer, but that doesn't make the wait any easier.

And while we will be seeing the young cast from the first flick returning as the Losers Club – most likely via flashbacks – it’s who’ll be playing their older selves that has remained a hot discussion point amongst the fanbase – and understandably so. What’s cool is that Jessica Chastain has reportedly been in talks to play adult Bev, and many of you reading this are probably aware that she was the dream pick for countless moviegoers.

Speaking of which, she’s on display in a new fan-made trailer that was recently put together by YouTuber P. Parker. In addition to her, the prospective cast is rounded out by the following: Patrick Wilson as Bill; Chris Pratt as Ben; Joseph Gordon Levitt as Stanley; Bill Hader as Richie; Jake Gyllenhaal as Eddie; and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mike. In other words, it’s exactly who fans want to see in these roles.

Aside from the impeccable editing, what I find to be especially praiseworthy about this video package is that the actual trailer we’ll eventually end up receiving may not look all that different. Really, the cuts between the younger and older members of the Losers Club will probably be utilized, as will similar bits of narration.

IT: Chapter Two arrives in theaters on September 6th, 2019. That’s still a long ways away, but in the meantime, be sure to check out the trailer above and let us know what you think.
