Fans already assumed that an armor upgrade was coming for Iron Man 3, but this might have been more than anyone could have expected.
The latest change in Tony Stark’s armor primarily sees more gold than red and it looks like the suit will feature even more gadgets and gizmos than it had in the last two films, if that’s even possible.
Cinema Blend was able to get some pictures of the new armor from the convention floor at Comic-Con and I must say, it looks pretty awesome. You can check it out for yourself in the pictures below.
Iron Man 3 is currently filming in North Carolina and will be based on the ‘Extremis’ storyline from the comics, with the Mandarin and Aldrich Killian as the main villains. More information is expected to be revealed at the Comic-Con panel later today and when it is, we’ll let you know.
Directed by Shane Black, Iron Man 3 is set for release on May 3, 2013 and stars Robert Downey, Jr, Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce.
