For anyone who’s been keeping up with all the commotion regarding the release of the first Avengers 4 trailer, these past few weeks have been an ongoing saga of disappointment and sheer madness. But it looked like it might finally be coming to an end with the recent report that the preview would be with us this Wednesday. That is, until Collider had to rain on our parade.
Late last night, the outlet Tweeted that they heard the trailer had been delayed, leaving fans to begin speculating yet again on when the new release date might be. But there may not be reason to panic just yet, as two industry insiders with reliable histories believe that we’ll still get our first look at Avengers 4 tomorrow.
Daniel RPK took to Twitter today to say that as far as he knows, the trailer is still set for Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jeremy Conrad Re-Tweeted his message, indicating that he thinks the same. Of course, without any word from Marvel, it’s impossible to say for sure, but again, these two are usually pretty reliable.
So, it still looks like it’s going to be a massive week for fans, then. With the Captain Marvel trailer dropping last night, the Avengers 4 preview supposedly coming Wednesday and then also footage from both Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Avenges Project to look forward to, these next couple of days are going to get pretty crazy, and after the dry spell of Marvel content we’ve had for the past few months, that’s totally alright with us.
But as for that Avengers 4 trailer in particular, it’ll be a relief when it finally drops if for no other reason than it’ll finally bring all this back and forth to an end. The two-minute promo has some ridiculously high expectations to live up to, but regardless of what it ultimately shows us, it’s pretty clear that the fans don’t really need anymore convincing before they head out to theaters next year.
