With the great reception that Guardians Of The Galaxy has received so far, Chris Pratt is a hotter name than he’s ever been before. Because of this, I’m sure that a few more people are getting excited for next summer’s Jurassic World. Now, to capitalize on GOTG‘s release, director Colin Trevorrow took to Twitter Thursday night to post a new picture of Pratt in the upcoming film.
See you next summer, Star-Lord. #GOTG pic.twitter.com/PfMNYPRZbQ

There’s nothing too revealing about this photo at first glance, but it does give another look at a film which I’m absolutely thrilled to see. I really enjoyed Guardians, and it has me to where I can hardly wait to see Pratt in more big roles. I’m not sure how similar his Jurassic World character will be to Peter Quill, but with Star Lord Pratt showed that he’s very much capable of carrying a movie, and that definitely bodes well for the next film in the Jurassic saga.
There’s still over 10 months until Jurassic World hits theaters, and unfortunately, we don’t know a whole lot of concrete information about the plot just yet. The great Comic-Con poster may have included some hints, but anything that’s been pulled from it is merely speculation. We do know, however, that Pratt plays Owen, a scientist at the park who is conducting behavioral research on the raptors.
Recently, Pratt dropped a few hints at the plot when speaking to Today (via THR). He explains that essentially, this movie takes place 22 years after the park was first opened. 20,000 visitors from around the world show up every day and the park is looking to find a way to spike the falling attendance numbers. As you can probably guess, their idea does not go well.
In addition to Pratt, Jurassic World stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Judy Greer, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and BD Wong. It opens on June 12, 2015.
