Sure, the recent reboot may have bombed at the box office, but let’s not forget how favorably the two flicks starring Ron Perlman have been viewed – not to mention the two animated movies spawned from those as well.
Well, get ready to revisit the one that started it all in style, as Guillermo Del Toro’s Hellboy film from 2004 is set to get the 4K Ultra HD treatment in celebration of its fifteenth anniversary. Furthermore, it’s worth mentioning that this souped-up home video release will include both the theatrical and director’s cuts, the latter of which happens to be ten minutes longer.
For those of you looking to get in on this, know that the party begins on October 15th when the remastered edition hits shelves in the form of a combo pack complete with 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital HD formats.
