A new Chinese poster for Avengers: Endgame has emerged online that shows the full line-up ready for action, including one surprising addition.
Against a backdrop that teases the upcoming journey into space, we see the various heroes who are set to band together in an effort to reverse the Snap, from Phase 1 stars like Iron Man and Captain America, to relative newcomer Captain Marvel. But one inclusion that we’ve yet to see in any other promotional images is an upgraded version of the Hulkbuster armor, which can be seen standing behind its last user, Bruce Banner.
Since the whole team seems accounted for in the new poster, it’s hard to say who could end up wearing the suit. Bruce might be a natural guess, given his reliance on the Hulkbuster in last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, though it’s safe to assume that he’ll be getting over his transformation difficulties in next month’s release, at which point, the armor will become unnecessary. Tony Stark is another obvious candidate, but as we’ve seen already, Iron Man’s suits don’t always need someone inside them to function, so perhaps we’re asking the wrong question here.
Regardless, it’s nice to know that Stark has found the time to give the Hulkbuster one last update in preparation for what might well be his final adventure. At the same time, previous promotional images have indicated that he’ll be rocking a much slimmer suit as well, while the latest trailer offers final confirmation that he’ll also be among the heroes wearing the team’s the new white uniform. We’ll find out if Iron Man can put all this gear to good use when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
