You’ll never seem him coming…you know, unless Fox’s social media activity telegraphs the next trailer reveal for The Predator.
As reported by Bloody Disgusting, 20th Century Fox’s French Twitter account released a short and suitably creepy promo (see below) in which a black and gold Predator removes its mask, revealing the nightmarish beast that lies beneath. This being a Predator movie, it also features the Yautja language, along with a countdown signalling that, yes, the full trailer for Shane Black’s reboot will be online at some point tomorrow, June 26th.
If history has taught us anything, it’s that Fox typically debuts its new trailers at 10 am ET – or, failing that, 1 pm ET so as to pique the curiosity of those early birds on America’s West Coast.
Whatever the outcome, we’ll have full coverage of The Predator‘s latest (and potentially greatest?) showreel for you right here on We Got This Covered.
Set in suburbia and featuring an all-star cast, The Predator marks the first entry into this most beloved franchise in almost eight years, so it’s fair to say that Shane Black’s long-in-development reimagining has been shackled with great expectation.
Can it deliver the goods and silence the naysayers? Who knows, but we imagine we’ll be able to get a better read on Black’s bold reboot this time tomorrow…
Il n'a pas "une gueule de porte-bonheur" mais il vous donne rendez-vous DEMAIN pour le nouveau trailer ! #Predator pic.twitter.com/9QhzCD0EMa

After multiple delays and a lengthy spell of reshoots (as is standard for a blockbuster of this scope), The Predator is expected to hack and slash its way into theaters on September 14th, when Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Black Panther‘s Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn of X-Men: Apocalypse, Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes round out the core cast.
