In the midst all the fuss we’ve been making over the Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser still not dropping weeks after audiences at Brazil’s CCXP got a taste, it’s easy to forget that Sony also screened footage from another major franchise film at the event, and according to Twitter leaker @DanielRPK, the first trailer for Men in Black International will be going online tomorrow.
Though we’ve yet to get any official confirmation on the matter, this sounds about right. After all, the trailer has already received a warm response at Comic Con Experience, with the preview reportedly featuring some expectedly great chemistry between Thor: Ragnarok co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, as well as narration from Liam Neeson. What’s more, the film’s marketing has been building up a lot of momentum in these past couple of weeks, between the movie’s title drop and first official photo. Besides, from Avengers: Endgame to Hellboy, this has already been an outstandingly busy month for major trailers, so why shouldn’t the next Men in Black join the bandwagon?
In any case, if the title of the franchise’s first entry since 2012’s Men in Black 3 wasn’t enough of a giveaway, you should expect the adventures of Agent H and Agent M to go well beyond the New York location of the previous installments, with the story said to take the new duo through parts of London, Morocco, and Italy as they attempt to seek out a mole in the organization.
You can find out how H and M fare in their mission – and more importantly, how they cope filling the shoes of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones – when Men in Black International comes out on June 14th, 2019.
