The hype train for Spider-Man: Homecoming is really picking up now, and we couldn’t be happier about it. We’ve seen absolutely nothing from Marvel’s upcoming reboot of the webslinger and with the film set to arrive in July, it’s definitely time for a teaser trailer, at the very least. Thankfully, our prayers will be answered on December 16th, when the first preview hits theatres attached to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. But could it land online earlier than that?
Possibly. We’ve heard that it’ll be shown off to audiences at a convention this Friday, and rumors are starting to mount that it’ll hit YouTube shortly after. While nothing’s been confirmed by the studio just yet, an Instagram user is adding fuel to the fire today thanks to some photos he’s posted from what he claims is the film’s first trailer.
[zergpaid]You can check them out in the gallery above, but take all of this with a grain of salt as these can easily be fakes. In any other instance, we’d disregard them as exactly that, but with all this news of the preview being shown off on Friday and appearing online as soon as this weekend, the screenshots above might just be real. At this point, we can’t really be sure, but take a look for yourself and see what you think.
Hopefully, it won’t be too much longer now until we can confirm this one way or another. Marvel knows that fans are hungry for a trailer and we imagine they’ll be delivering it very soon. While they may make us wait until Rogue One hits theatres, as originally planned, we suspect the studio will debut it ahead of time. Fingers crossed, eh?
