So, when can we expect Marvel to reveal the full slate for Phase Four of the MCU? Well, Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic has collated the evidence and come up with a pretty convincing guess. In short, the likelihood is that the news will come our way at this summer’s San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Studios usually has a big presence at the event, but they sat it out in 2018 due to the need to keep spoilers at a minimum for what we knew at the time as Avengers 4.

When president Kevin Feige explained the situation to Den of Geek last year, he said: “That’s one of the main reasons we’re not going to Hall H this year,” meaning fans had enough movies to be getting on with for the next 12 months. “So we’re gonna wait until Comic-Con next year,” he teased.

If this confirmation from the horse’s mouth didn’t convince you, then MakingStarWars.net has reported that Disney will reveal its upcoming Star Wars movie plans at SDCC before dropping details about its Disney Plus projects at August’s D23 Expo. As such, there’s a strong possibility that they’ll have the same plan of action for Marvel.

SDCC kicks off on Friday July 19th, and given that Star Wars usually takes the spotlight on the first day, the best bet is for Marvel to grab the stage at Hall H on Saturday July 20th, a few weeks after Far From Home arrives in cinemas. Which means there shouldn’t be too long a wait from the end of Phase Three until the official beginning of Phase Four.
