Marlon Wayans returns for another round of spoofing horror movies and pushing the comedic envelope with A Haunted House 2. After the crazy events of the first film, Malcolm Johnson (Wayans) has moved on and started a relationship with Megan (Jaime Pressly), a divorcee with two kids. But once they move into a new home, some very strange occurrences begin to take place.
No horror movie is safe here. From the latest Paranormal Activity to last year’s The Conjuring, Wayans pokes fun at them all and the results are often hilarious, if not a bit silly. Audiences going into the film should know exactly what to expect from it, especially if they’ve seen A Haunted house. If this type of humor hits your funny bone, then you’ll definitely be pleased with this sequel.
Wayans and Pressly recently attended a press day for the film that was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, California las week. It was a real trip to meet with them and discuss the film as both actors have a fearlessness to them that really comes off in both A Haunted House 2 and in real life.
