Revving up its engines and crashing into theatres today is The Transporter Refueled, the fourth film in the action-packed Transporter series. Gone is franchise star Jason Statham and in his place is the perfectly capable Ed Skrein, who plays Frank Martin, a “former special-ops mercenary who enters into a game of chess with a femme-fatale and her three sidekicks who are looking for revenge against a sinister Russian kingpin.”
Packed to the brim with wild car chases, death-defying stunt work and a solid leading performance from Skrein, the film is definitely a good time and should please those who have come to enjoy the franchise over the years.
Recently, we had the chance to catch up with Skrein for an exclusive interview. Taking place in a moving car, it was certainly a very different experience than what we’re used to, but it was a ton of fun. During our short ride, the actor spoke about preparing for what was undoubtedly his biggest role yet and how he managed all the training and stunt work.
Hear what Ed had to say about his new role in the video above, and be sure to catch The Transporter Refueled as it’s now in theatres!
