Exclusive Video Interview With Ed Harris And Tilda Swinton On Snowpiercer

Despite numerous fights between director Bong Joon-ho and Harvey Weinstein over which cut of the film would be released in the US, Snowpiercer is finally headed to theatres this weekend, unedited and exactly how the director wanted audiences to see it. It was a wise decision to release the film in its original cut, too, as Snowpiercer is an intelligent, thrilling and ambitious piece of work that deserves to be seen. I personally think it's one of the best films of the year so far and I can't wait to see how moviegoers receive it.

I personally think it’s one of the best films of the year so far and I can’t wait to see how moviegoers receive it.

For those who unfamiliar with the sci-fi thriller, Snowpiercer takes place in the distant future after a global warming experiment kills off almost the entire population. A small group of survivors live on the Snowpiercer, a train that continuously travels around the world via a “perpetual-motion engine.” Divided by a class system, things start to get ugly when a revolt breaks out as those in tail section decide to make a stand against the elite, who inhabit the front of the train.

A few weeks ago in Los Angeles, I had the chance to sit down with Tilda Swinton and Ed Harris for an exclusive video interview. Amidst massive amounts of praise for their director, the two talked about crafting their characters, who they based their performances off of, the possibility of a prequel and more.

Check it out below and be sure to catch Snowpiercer in theatres this Friday!
