Actress Erin Carufel will be joining Amanda Seyfried in Heitor Dhalia’s thriller Gone, penned by Allison Burnett. The film centers on a kidnapped survivor (Seyfried) who attempts to find the same kidnapper whom she believes has abducted her sister. She’s convinced that the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job, but the police will not believe her and Jill knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, Jill sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all.
Carufel’s character is still unspecified. The actress recently appeared in The Lincoln Lawyer and has also had roles in Untraceable and Elena Undone. Gone begins shooting in Portland next month. (THR)
