Having been away from home for the last several days, which included a trip to the Oscars and the obligatory shilling of his Teremana tequila brand, Dwayne Johnson returned home to a most unexpected surprise.
When you’re one of the hardest-working and busiest stars on the planet, keeping an eagle eye on the ongoing events back on your own turf becomes increasingly difficult, something The Rock discovered to his detriment after three days traversing the country in the name of self-promotion and self-congratulation of other industry types.
Taking to social media, the actor and producer unveiled the newest additions to the Johnson family, or at least one of them. Looking suitably perplexed, the 50 year-old gazed in a mixture of confusion and bewilderment at a guinea pig going round and round in circles, which he cheerfully dubbed as “the crackhead zoomies.”
He probably shouldn’t compare the guinea pigs to crackheads within earshot of his two young daughters, but any parent knows the feeling of the kids getting up to no good when they’ve got the rule of the roost. That being said, a couple of new pets is hardly the worst thing that could have happened, especially when Johnson is an exceedingly wealthy man who could have seen his offspring go full Mike Tyson and acquire a tiger or two.
If his online activity has taught us anything, though, it’s that the simplest way for him to relax would be by sitting down with a stiff Teremana to watch the latest happenings in the XFL, because it’s all about the grind at the end of the day.
