Anticipation for the tenth entry in the Fast & Furious franchise is spiking ahead of the film’s impending release.
Nine whole films have set the stage for the action in Fast X, which serves as the beginning of the sprawling franchise’s final arc. Reports that the story’s big finale may be split into a mind-boggling three separate parts are already raising plenty of questions about what direction the story will take, but we’re more focused on how it will be delivered. We had a solid two-year wait between F9 and Fast X, with a far lengthier four-year wait — largely necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic — between The Fate of the Furious and F9. Hopefully, we won’t have nearly so long to wait for Fast X Part 2, particularly if Fast X decides to leave fans dangling with a cliffhanger.
Regardless of how, exactly, the film ends, audiences will want to stick around if the Fast & Furious franchise continues its trend of inserting an additional scene once the credits start rolling. While many of the earlier films in the franchise lack those enticing post-film snippets, F9 went the way of the MCU and added a quick additional scene after the main story concluded. Will Fast X do the same?
Does Fast X have a post-credits scene?
You won’t want to ditch those seats too soon, once the Fast X credits start rolling. A post-credits scene is included at the conclusion of the action-packed flick, and thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for it. Instead of genuinely appearing post the credits, Fast X grants its fans with an extra scene pretty quickly after the credits begin, and no subsequent scenes require you to hang out once it’s concluded.
Considering Fast X‘s status as the first in at least a duology, but perhaps a full trilogy, that post-credits scene is all but guaranteed to contain vital information. So, waiting around for a few extra minutes will doubtless be worth it, to clue viewers into every detail contained within the ongoing story’s final arc.
