Disney has just released a video game tie in for their upcoming CGI film Wreck-It Ralph. Titled Fix It Felix JR. and designed in the style of an arcade game, moviegoers and avid gamers can now give it a try over at Disney’s website.
Wreck-It Ralph is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ (not to be confused with Pixar) latest entry into the CGI family film genre. The studio recently found success with 2010’s Tangled and now, expectation are high for Wreck-It Ralph.
Set in the world of video games, Disney’s 51st animated feature is the story of an 8-bit game villain who becomes fed up with being the bad guy after 30 years of smashing buildings. Voiced by John C. Reilly, Ralph sets out on an epic quest through other video game worlds to find a place where he can be the good guy for once.
Admittedly, the game isn’t anything special but if you’re looking forward to the film or you find yourself with too much time on your hands, give it a try.
Wreck-It Ralph is due in theatres November 2nd, 2012
