Dee Wallace Looks Unrecognizable In Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell

We've finally gotten our first look at Dee Wallace in Rob Zombie's 3 From Hell, and just like she said, you can barely recognize her.

Three From Hell

A Dee Wallace-Rob Zombie collaboration shouldn’t sound like a surprise. The renowned scream screen has appeared in several of the heavy metal musician’s films over the year, including The Lords of Salem and his 2007 remake of Halloween. And now the two’ll be working together again in 3 From Hell. While we don’t know a lot about her role in the film, Wallace has promised that she’ll be vindictive, and not only that, virtually unrecognizable as well.

In a recent chat with Rue Morgue, here’s what she had to say:

“I can tell you, look really closely; you won’t even know it’s me,” Wallace said. “I walked by Sid Haig and Bill Moseley the first time we were on set together and said, ‘Hey, guys,’ and they looked at me and went, ‘My God, it’s Dee!’ Sid said, ‘Oh my God, I never would have known that was you!’ I play a character I’ve never played before, not particularly a nice one, and I have a lot of great scenes with Sheri Moon Zombie.”

The Cujo star, not ignorant of the whacky characters the horror genre can generate, then teased, “this woman…. she’s waaaaay out there.”

Well, we’ve finally got our first look at Wallace’s character, and having interviewed her, I can tell you, she was absolutely right. Check the picture out below and see her transformation for yourself.

Having been a dedicated genre performer for decades, with over 200 credits to her name, a new Dee Wallace performance should make any horror fan excited. And again, while we don’t know a whole lot about the highly anticipated follow-up to The Devil’s Rejects, it’s looking like it’ll be quite a bloody adventure, for sure.

Unfortunately, anyone who’s super eager to see the film will have to do some research because it’s only slated for a three-day theatrical release in mid-September. And who knows how quickly those will sell out? But of course, DVD’s always another option.

But if you want to go out and see Wallace on the big screen, be sure to check out your theater’s listings, as 3 From Hell will be setting sail on September 16th, 17th, and 18th later this year.
