Colin Trevorrow is still at least a couple of years away from starting work on Star Wars Episode IX, and so in the meantime, he’s working on The Book of Henry for Focus Features. The cast of the movie has already attracted Naomi Watts (The Divergent Series), Jaeden Lieberher (St. Vincent), and Jacob Tremblay (Room), and now three more very impressive casting additions have been made in the form of Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy), Sarah Silverman (A Million Ways to Die in the West), and Dean Norris (Breaking Bad).
Following the success of Jurassic World (now the third highest grossing movie of all-time), it perhaps shouldn’t come as any sort of surprise that Trevorrow has attracted such a great cast for his next project. The plot of the movie is being kept under wraps for now, but the screenplay was written by best-selling novelist Gregg Hurwitz, a name comic book fans will recognize from titles like Batman: The Dark Knight and Moon Knight.
It’s thought that Trevorrow will move straight on to Star Wars Episode IX after finishing work on The Book of Henry, though another of his projects was – unsurprisingly – resurrected recently by Dreamworks, a time travelling tale titled Stealing Time. He’s also writing the Jurassic World sequel with Derek Connolly, so the filmmaker has a very busy few years ahead of him.
When we hear more regarding The Book Of Henry though, we’ll be sure to let you know.
