In celebration of Bond’s 50th anniversary, the first clip from Skyfall premiered yesterday, giving us a sneak peek at one of the film’s many action sequences. It sees the iconic super spy making his way through a moving train, providing for thrills, stunts and what looks like a very impressive scene which I can’t wait to see in full when the film hits theatres.
The best part about it all is the very last shot, where Bond, played again by Daniel Craig, adjusts his cufflinks, proving that his over-the-top, death defying entrance hasn’t phased him at all. Classic Bond.
Through everything we’ve seen, from images to trailers and now this clip, Skyfall is shaping up to be the best Bond film yet. I think it’s safe to say that this is the most excited I’ve been about a Bond film, well, ever.
Skyfall will be in theaters and IMAX on November 9, 2012. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think.
In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M (JUDI DENCH) is tested as her past returns to haunt her. 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
When Bond’s latest assignment goes gravely wrong and agents around the world are exposed, MI6 is attacked forcing M to relocate the agency. These events cause her authority and position to be challenged by Gareth Mallory (RALPH FIENNES), the new Chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee. With MI6 now compromised from both inside and out, M is left with one ally she can trust: Bond. 007 takes to the shadows – aided only by field agent, Eve (NAOMIE HARRIS) – following a trail to the mysterious Silva (JAVIER BARDEM), whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to reveal themselves.
