In what is rumored to be Steven Soderbergh‘s last movie for a while (before he decides to unretire again), Side Effects looks be taking its cues from Hitchcock, Polanski and the works of Nabokov. While we’ve already been treated to some stills of Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Channing Tatum, the first poster for the upcoming psychological thriller has been unveiled – and it’s a doozy. Check it out below.
The poster takes the form of a prescription for one Emily Taylor, which is presumably the name of Rooney Mara’s character, though we like “Rooney Mara” better, despite the fact that she couldn’t possibly play a character of that name – the film isn’t that weird. There’s also mention of Jonathan Banks (Jude Law), who will obviously prescribe a certain drug to Ms. Taylor, prompting said “Side Effects” of the movie’s title. See?
