Despite how unpopular Captain Marvel is perceived to be online, it appears that the titular superhero is still very much beloved by more than a few fans. According to a recent survey, Carol Danvers’ alter ego is the top movie-inspired female Halloween costume of 2019. While this poll is sure to aggravate the easily irritated fanboys on the Internet, it’ll also hopefully convince people that Brie Larson is definitely the right actress for the job moving forward.
Unsurprisingly, Joker takes first place when it comes to movie-inspired costumes for men. The eponymous film has been a massive blockbuster for DC and is garnering some serious Oscar buzz ahead of awards season thanks to Joaquin Phoenix’s magical performance.
