Original Jurassic Park Cast May Return For Jurassic World 3

Three things are for sure in this life: death, taxes, and dinosaurs will always be profitable. When Jurassic Park came out in 1993, moviegoers were smitten with the creatures, even if they did end up eating a bunch of people. When Jurassic Park came out in 1993, moviegoers were smitten with the creatures, even if they did end up eating a bunch of people. And when Jurassic World brought them back to our screens in 2015, it happened all over again. Well, if you’re fans of both, we have some good news for you about the upcoming Jurassic World 3.

MTV News caught up with Bryce Dallas Howard at the UK premiere for Rocketman, which she stars in alongside a small, talking raccoon. Just kidding, it’s about Elton John.

Anyways, she was asked about the third installment of the blockbuster series and more specifically, about the cast of the original movies coming back. Here’s how that conversation went:

Jeff Goldblum, as we know, made a cameo as Ian Malcolm in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Howard’s not-so-subtle blink very strongly suggests that Sam Neill’s Alan Grant and Laura Dern’s Ellie Sattler will be returning the next time as well. Maybe Ellie can convince Howard’s Claire Dearing to invest in some sneakers?

Though we know little to nothing about the plot of the third movie so far, we have been told that the pitch blew Chris Pratt away, and it’ll apparently be something we haven’t seen before, according to producer Colin Treverrow. There were even rumors that it would be set in space (please, oh please let those be rumors).

Whatever we end up getting, given that Fallen Kingdom took us back to Isla Nublar, where the dinosaurs’ existence was once again being threatened by mother nature, it’ll be interesting to see where they take us for Jurassic World 3, which stomps into theaters on June 11th, 2021.
