While filming officially got underway in Atlanta several weeks ago, today brings us another look at Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, spotted on set and in costume. The Anna Boden/Ryan Fleck-helmed picture will remain in production for the next few months, but mostly on sound stages. As a result, behind-the-scenes treats like this should be enjoyed while they’re available.

Granted, there’s nothing terribly revealing here, but it’s always nice to see more of the project and you can check out the latest video down below.

News regarding Captain Marvel has been abundant as of late, with the recent departure of DeWanda Wise due to a scheduling conflict, to her subsequent replacement by Lashana Lynch less than twenty four hours later. There’s also been some speculation that our first official look at Carol Danvers on screen will occur in Avengers: Infinity War. However, Disney has consistently shut down those rumours, stating that the energy-absorbing heroine will not appear in the upcoming Joe and Anthony Russo-directed blockbuster.

That being said, many still think it’s possible that Larson will show up in the pic via a post-credits scene. If you ask us, that’s probably just wishful thinking, but we don’t have long to go now before we find out, as Infinity War will be with us on April 27th.

Circling back to Captain Marvel, though, and alongside Larson, the film also stars Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn, among others. It’s currently scheduled to fly into theaters on March 8th, 2019, just a few months before the current era of the MCU comes to a close with Avengers 4.
