As his star quickly rises, Bradley Cooper‘s name is probably being tossed around for a vast majority of films in Hollywood right now. He’s no doubt finding himself on numerous shortlists and I can’t imagine he’s having any trouble finding his next project. Today The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Cooper may settle on The Crow, Relativity’s upcoming remake of the 1994 film which recently snagged director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Apparently Cooper met with the director and the two hit it off quite well. Although nothing is confirmed yet, Cooper is supposedly pretty interested in the project and is in early talks to star.
This seems like a logical decision, for the studio at least. They clearly want to get going on this project as quickly as possible and Cooper is already generating some solid cash for them with Limitless. Still, I’m not entirely sure I can see Cooper in Brandon Lee‘s classic role. That being said, he’s turning into one of Hollywood’s most dependable leading men and I’m willing to give anything he does a chance. He managed to impress me in Limitless and was able to show us that he could indeed lead a film. All signs point to him signing on here and we’ll be sure to let you know when it becomes official.
