It looks like Bradley Cooper may be an extremely busy man for the next few years. He is set to begin filming The Hangover Part 3 and we already had word that he would be starring in an upcoming David O. Russell film. He’s also going to appear alongside Ryan Gosling in The Place Beyond The Pines and now he is rumored to be involved in two more additional projects.
Variety reports that Cooper is in talks to star in an upcoming crime thriller from director J. Blakeson titled Bad Blood and Trouble. The film is set in 1950s Miami where Cooper would play a detective in love with a married woman whose husband has been targeted by a group of criminals.
As for the other project, The Hollywood Reporter has word that Cooper may be joining Clint Eastwood’s musical A Star Is Born. This remake of the 1954 musical has been in the works for quite a while now, and the lead male role has previously been passed over by Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Russell Crowe, Christian Bale and Tom Cruise. As for the female lead, right now it is set to go to Beyonce.
Both of these projects sound very interesting and should be good roles for Cooper to showcase his talent with. I’m most excited to see if the actor can actually sing though, so hopefully he signs on for A Star Is Born. Regardless, Cooper fans will be at no shortage of films to watch in the next couple of years.
Does Bradley Cooper sound like a good fit for either of these roles? Share your thoughts below in the comments.
